Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services within a K-12 school environment. This position involves supporting students through remote psychological services, providing assessments, interventions, and consultative support.
Location: Gretna, LA
Assignment Duration: Contract through the current school year, starting ASAP with an expected end date of May 22, 2026.
Work Hours: 35 hours per week (7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy psychological services to K-12 students.
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to support student needs.
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings and consultations regarding student progress and services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Louisiana DOE certification required.
- Full licensure in Louisiana and licensure in the candidates state of residence.
- Minimum of 3 years experience providing psychological services in Louisiana school settings.
- Demonstrated experience delivering teletherapy services.
- Successful completion of a technology screening process.
- One professional reference must be available for review.
